I was doing some research on Jonesboro Arkansas today and was amazed to see how much the substance abuse and drug addiction problem had grown. I guess I shouldnt be suprised at the need for Arkansas drug rehab in and around Jonesboro, but this time I was.

I had been involved with a drug rehab project several years ago and what i saw was a failry upscale little, big town that seemed peaceful. Keep in mind there was a drug problem but not really to the degree it seems to be now.

Looks like if your going to get drug rehab help in Jonesboro your going to have to travel to get it.

Its very interesting when looking at all the statistics concerning addiction and the need for drug rehab in Arkansas. If you are looking for a Arkansas drug rehab you have just a few to choose from.

 There are about 25 different substance abuse and addiction treatment programs listed within 100 miles of Little Rock, Arkansas listed by the substance abuse and mental health administration. These addiction treatment centers are primarily outpatient drug rehabs or short term residential substance abuse treatment or alcohol rehab programs.

Fortunatley there are other faith based drug rehab programs that works really well if the addict can get past the strict admissions policies. There are four of these programs throughout the state that offer services to adult men and women and one adolescent female rehab program.

However if you are looking for a Little Rock drug rehab like this you're going to have to travel, which is actually a good thing. Getting the addict out of the area is a theraputic step in itself. Usually counselors will want to the person as far away from all of the action so rehabilitation can occur.

This also puts up a geographical  barrier to ensure the addict confronts his or her issues. Getting over addiction of any is just not that easy, thats why its an addiction.
